Greek historian of the 1st century AD from the city of Artemita, near the Tigris River, one of the Seleucid cities that had preserved the Greek culture within the Parthian state. He wrote a history of the Parthian state entitled Parthika, the 4th book of which is mentioned by Athenaeus. Also Strabo, who in his historical work mentions details about the Parthians, certainly has in mind the work of Apollodorus, whom he also mentions. Apollodorus described in his work the fall of the eastern regions of the state from the rule of the Seleucids and the invasions of Asian nomadic peoples.
